- Oh God, I mean for Your remembrance, thank you, and good worship of You. Oh God, best our punishment in all matters, and save us from the disgrace of this world and the torment of the Hereafter. Oh God, I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, miserliness, old age, and the torment of the grave.
- Oh God, give my soul to piety, purify it, you are better than purify it, you are its guardian and lord, O God, I seek refuge in you from knowledge that does not benefit, and from a heart that does not fear, and from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered, O Lord of the worlds.
- Oh God, Lord of Gabriel and Michael and Lord of Israfil, I seek refuge in You from the heat of the fire and from the torment of the grave, O God, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, O Answerer of supplications, O Lord of the worlds.
